Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

I had a minor car accident no damage was done the other party actually said " don't worry about it there was no physical damage" no police report were filed, I gave her my number out of courtesy but now I'm receiving calls from her father and her asking me for my insurance information to file claim. The calls are constant and she has left voice mail that said " answer your phone we have your license plates number" I'm scared what should I do? I'm a student so I don't have much funds to get legal aid...

The Texas Transportation Code provides that a driver shall give their name, address, registration number of their vehicle, and name of liability insurer IF someone is injured or their vehicle is damaged.

I would ask what they are claiming now since there was no damage or injuries at the time you tapped their vehicle. Some people make fraudulent claims and say they are injured when they are not and claim damage to their vehicle not caused by the accident. It's possible, that the other party could have backed into something, damaged the rear of her vehicle, and is now trying to claim you caused the damage. Sometimes, however, damage is not readily visible or missed at the scene of the accident and injuries manifest themselves a day to two later.

They may be bluffing and not have your license plate.
