Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas
i was in a minor fender bender in a strip mall parking lot, the lady is saying its my fault and im saying its hers, we traded information but i didn't follow with the insurance company because there were no damages to my truck, after telling my side to my insurance company they decided that she was at fault and did not give her any money. now 4 months later i get served by the city that im being sued by her for bodily injury and i bunch of other stuff, what should i do, get a lawyer? what are the chances that i would win this case?

Tell your insurance company and they will hire a lawyer for you.
Per your insurance contract, you have to provide them a copy of the lawsuit immediately. They should provide a defense for you. Read your policy: it should tell you exactly how you have to notify them. (Most of the time, you can notify them via fax, but it's safer to send it via certified mail, return receipt, so you can prove that you complied with the contract.) Follow up with them, as you have short deadline to file your answer.
