Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas
I was parking my car (sitting still) in a gym parking lot on a Sat. afternoon & was broadsided by an uninsured motorist who fled the scene. He had been drinking at a nearby business & didn't pay his tab & was trying to get away. My car was totaled & have had to actually file a lawsuit against my own insurance company to get medical bills, etc. paid.
My question is------can I also sue the restaurant/bar where the person had been drinking & if so, do I have to wait until the lawsuit with my own insurance is settled?

You may indeed have a claim against the bar. If you have an attorney, you should talk to them about this. If not, I would be happy to discuss this matter with you.
