You need to hire an attorney since the bar owner will probably be unwilling to respond in a meaningful way unless you use legal force. I do not recommend that you try handling this sort of case on your own.

The other two answers you have received are spot on. I would only ad that you should take lots of photos of your husband from today through his entire recovery process. Also, if you paid for your drinks with a credit card, make sure you keep the bill to show how little or how much you drank that evening.

If you had friends with you, ask them to write the details of their experience of the night, if they are not much for writing, get a small recorder and tape their memories before they start to fade away. These lawsuits can take years and when or if it goes to trial or even during discovery and the taking of depositions, it is hard to remember all of the details without anything to refresh your recollection.

Re: ?Personal Injury

First, get your husband checked out by a physician, as getting knocked unconscious is never a good thing. Second, document everything: who you spoke with, witness names and numbers, all the details you can remember while it is still fresh in your mind. Third, you will need to retain counsel. Most lawyers will review your case with you for free, and won't charge you unless they collect. These types of cases are not easy, as the bar will claim that your husband was drunk and rowdy (which is why you need witnesses to back you.)
