Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

If a policy covers up to 30000 and Medicare bills r more, what is the point of paying state and lawyer fees? Why not settle with insurance co myself? What can happen if I get money for med bills and don't pay medicade with money?

lawyer would negotiate with Medicare and other liens..so both lawyer and you would be paid..good luck
