Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

My son was watching two boys beat up on boys and girls in his class when one boy pushed his friend and so he pushed the other boy back and the boy fell and fractured his arm. The mom is threatening to sew my for the $190 dollars in medical bills, can she do this?

Generally, parents are not liable for the torts of their children. You should encourage your son to refrain from resorting to violence unless there is no other recourse.
