Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

A question about TXU Elect.

Wednesday at 3 am A tree fell on my husband Elect wire knocking power off TXU wouldn't come out and fix it till Thrusday 1 AM My husband on oxygen and in very bad heath Several calls the lady in the office got rude so he ask speak to mrg. so after about 17 hrs come out fix the wire The temp.was around 108-110 He nearly had a heath stroke and been in the hospital since Friday 6 days today can TXU do this and get away with this Thanks BJ

I am sorry about the condition of your husband. However, unless TXU knew about his health condition, they would not be liable for the inconvenience that he suffered. Many people have suffered from the heat in TX this year. I recognize that you and your husband were seriously inconvenienced, but to impose liablility, your damages would have to be greater.
