Monday night at 9 pm CNN will rebroadcast on Anderson Cooper 360 the

results of the 18 month investigation into the insurance industry's

tactics that we are all familiar with in how they fight third party car

wreck claims.

It's entitled "Deny, Delay, Defend" and as part of their program's

"Keeping them Honest" theme, is paired up with the slogan "Insurance

Companies - Keeping them Honest"

I encourage all of you who work car wreck cases to in turn encourage

your clients to watch this program, to confirm the kind of things we

tell our clients what we are up against

AS LITTLE AS THEY CAN OFFER TO SETTLE..NO RULES LEFT AS INSURANCE COMPANIES CONTROL THE LAWMAKERS..AND TEXAS COURTS

There's no easy answer to your question. I assume you want to try and settle this on your own. You will likely receive less doing it yourself than if you were represented by a lawyer who routinely handles personal injury matters. You should seriously consider hiring one.

Let me know if I can help.

Re: Rear-End Collision

There are 13 categories of damages in Texas approved by the Supreme Court. The major ones include past and future medical bills, past and future physical pain, past and future mental anguish, lost wages, and loss of wage-earning capacity. Determining which categories you are entitled to and how to prove-up your damages in each category is a complex task requiring the skills of an experienced personal injury lawyer. In short, you are way over your head trying to negotiate this claim on your own. Any good injury attorney can get more for you than you can get for yourself--even after deducting his fee. Call an attorney to help you. I would be happy to discuss your case with you further.
