What is a reasonal settlement offer for someone who was hit by a drunk driving and is still having physical problems as a result of the injuries?

There's not enough information here. However, if you're doing this on your own, you're likely leaving money on the table. DWI cases are specialized. Don't do this alone. At very least, meet with a few personal injury attorneys and discuss your case with them. Most, if not all, will meet with you for free. See which one works best with you, which one actually meets with you, etc. Then make a choice.

I agree 100% with my colleagues. You are in completely over your head (no offense intended) to try to negotiate this on your own. There are just too many pitfalls. The insurance company has an entire firm of attorneys; shouldn't you have at least one?
