It is always my suggestion that a client try to work out problems with their attorney before switching lawyers. Sometimes it is just a matter of making your wishes clearly known to the attorney or his/her staff. Most attorneys try to be very responsive to their clients' wishes. Of course, if you have made the unfortunate mistake of hiring a "TV Lawyer" (most of whom forget about you once you've signed the contract), your only option may be to start all over again with a new lawyer. Never, NEVER hire a lawyer who advertises on television, billboards, or the backs of buses. (Now, didn't you already know that?)

The insurance co. is the likely culprit. They probably have not approved your rental car. If your lawyer can't get this done, find another lawyer. Of course, this will give the ins. co. another excuse to delay approving your rental car.
