Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

sued for damages without being served.

I was sued along with another party in texas (jointly and severally) and was not served, but judgement was made against me and the other party. I found out when I got served by a local Sheriff in Louisiana for asset examination. Now it seems too late. Incident happened in Texas. Clerk of Court in Texas says 1st attempt for court was undeliverable, second attempt was unclaimed. I was on the road for years and did not receive notice through p.o. box. Can I reverse judgment? If not, and I am judgment proof, can my spouse be held liable (exposed) in any way if we have never filed income or taxes together and are seperated?

You can always challenge the service in a bill of review.

How long ago was the judgment? You may have some remedies, depending on the amount of time that has passed. As for your wife, that would fall under LA law.
