Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Teacher- neglect and injury to a student.

My child was injurd do to neglect of a school moniter. Parents were not contacted. Child was not sent to a school nurse to be assesed for injury. school claims that they have immunity from liability.

What can I do??

Generally, schools do have immunity from liability unless the incident involved a motor vehicle. Without more specifics, I can't tell if there are other circumstances that might break the immunity defense.

More than likely the school would be immune from a lawsuit in the general description you provide. I recognize your frustration with this situation, but the cost of pursuing something like this would likely exceed any financial recovery.
