Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas
In texas, if your vehicle is 'struck' in the parking lot of a public business i.e. "resteraunt", is that the same as a private residence.

If your question was, "is that considered a public roadway?" Then no it is not. However, drivers have the same duty in parking lots as they do on the street, including the duty to stop and give or leave information. The only thing that is different is that police will not issue a traffic ticket after investigating the accident (if they even come investigate).
