I got a ticket in 05 in houston i failed to go to the court date if a warrant for arrest was issued in 05. and i get in a wreck in 07 would i get arrested. dont cops run your license when you've been in an car wreck my license was handed to several cops and they gave me a ticket which i took care of it before the court date it was dismissed for the 07 wreck. it is now 2010 and i have a supposed warrant for 05. a year ago walking home at night a cop ran me for warrents i came back all clear expired licence, the cop let me go he gave no ticket because i was walking. so did i have a warrant for my arrest

I do not quite understand your series of questions.
First, I do not know if you have a warrant for your arrest or not. I know of no reasons why you would not have a warrant.
You state that a ticket was dismissed in 2007 and imply this ticket for failure to appear was taken care of. If it was then, you do not have a warrant probably.
The police officer did run a check which had you in the clear. However, for some reason, I have seen warrants appear later and my clients complain to me that they may have applied for a drivers license and or been pulled over previously and no warrant showed, so why are they being arrested now?
You can have your record checked usually at the county sheriffs office for a nominal fee. However, in theory you can be arrested if the warrant shows.
