Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

While at work I purchased a meal and after eating a good amount of it realized that it had glass in it. I'd noticed some pieces of it where a bit crunchier than pasta should be but didn't think anything of it until I hit a piece that I couldn't chew. I spit out, it was a chunk of glass. I went to the hospital, was told I have no visible injuries and probably will end up "passing" it without harm. The whold situation was incredibly embarassing not to mention scary. Now, I'm starting to feel some pressure from my employer concerning the incident? Legally, what are my best options. - I did hold onto the piece of glass I found, my food along with all of the remaining food from the food center was thrown out.

It sounds like you were not injured. So your only damages would be your medical bills and lost income, if you had any. If your health insurance paid your medical bills, then it would likely be entitled to claim reimbursement from you for money you'd receive for medical bills. If you had a deductible, it'd be nice if your employer repaid you for that.

Your claim does not sound to valuable and you need to consider the cost vs. benefit of pressing for compensation from your employer.
