a car dealership had put a plenum gasket in Dec. of 1998 and one again in June of 1999 - they put the gasket in backwards causing severe damage and the motor not receiving any oil. can this dealership be liable for any of my costs. I had brought this vehicle to another dodge dealer and they found and fixed problem. please advise

It would appear you have a claim for negligence. Whether it is worth a lawyers time is doubtful. My suggestion is to call the first dealer and demand they reimburse you in full (after all, they did not do the job for which you paid them) and pay for the subsequent repairs (what they did do damaged your car and necessitated further repair). If they refuse consider small claims court to get them moving. Also, a complaint to the local BBB should motivate them to set things right.
