exploding v8 fusion

i left a quarter of a v8 fusion drink in my room with the cap on. Three days later I go to open it and it explodes and the cap hits me in the eye. There is a gas (smoke) in the bottle sounded like a shotgun. The drink smells like wine.(fermintaion of the grapes) What should I do??? I called the 1800 #.

Why don't you check the directions on the bottle labeling. I bet there's something on there that says "keep refrigerated" and/or "keep refrigerated after opening." In which case, you have nothing to do except be careful to follow instructions next time around. Hope this helps.
