Legal Question in Product Liability in Texas

I have a Metronic SynchroMed II pain pump that was recalled by the FDA in 2008. I was never told of this by my physician and now am presenting with symptoms of pump malfunction. I need to go to the Dr. but need to know how to proceed with this first.

Write him immediately and send letter certified mail, return receipt requested so you can prove you sent it. Send it also to the product manufacturer, and the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). I bet you get some action
