Legal Question in Product Liability in Texas
My vehicle is in an auto repair shop. I'm being told that I have to pay for the labor done to check my car to tell me what the issues is. The problem is that I was led to believe that the same issue that I paid them thousands of dollars to fix was under warrenty which is why I took it back there to address the problem. Now my engine is taken apart...they are saying that the repair (of the same issue I paid for before is not under warrenty) cost some total I truely can't afford. But to take the engine apart to tell me that, I'm being asked to pay for the labor. I just want to get my car towed from there and not do any more business with them...but my car is not being released. Do I have a legal right to retrieve my car?
