Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

anonymous contract

Can I submit an anonymous contract to purchase a property? I do not want the sellers to know who I am because I think it will lessen by ability to negotiate based on their knowlege of my income.

Re: anonymous contract

It is done all of the time with big-time purchasers. Find someone who will act on your behalf and the purchaser will read..."John Smith, and/or assigns." At the time of closing, John will then "assign" his rights to you so that you become the purchaser.

You would need to have an agent repesent you; an attorney could do that.
