Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

I bought property in Texas more than 20 years ago for $60.00 per month, where there would never be any principal paid. The owner declared "a deal is a deal " and would not refund my $700.00 down payment. The news paper ad I answered never mentioned a total price for the property. Do I have any adverse possesion rights?

Have you been paying the $60 mo. for the past 20 years? Adverse possession means just that - you would have to pe "possessing" the property and if you are in TN, I don't see how you can prove it. You would be better off suing the seller if the statute of limitations hasn't run.
