Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Myself and my boyfriend bought a home together... we are both owners on the deed to the house... if we split can I make him sell the house to give me half of the equity in it??? He wants to stay in the house and pay me, but i don't want him having the house, we both put hard work into it and I don't feel that he deserves it by himself.

expensive..but a matter for family court...or any court..unless agreed to. If there is equity it would be divided but not certain a court will award attorney fees..so visit a lawyer..normal consultation fee is nominal
