Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

my brothers and i jointly own land 60 acres. i, own 5 , another brother owns 20 and another 30. their land has been surveyd mine has not. the brother, who owns 30 is trying to say that since he owns the majority he can determine what land is mine and what i cna do with the land. what are my rights when i jointly own land with family? he, is trying to say i can do anything with out his approval. the land was given to us by our father\thanks

Your brother is wrong if it was given to you as an undivided interest. Unless dad specified exactly what property is to be given to each child, I would guess you own the 60 acres jointly. If that is the case and if you can't agree on distribution, then you can ask the court to partition the property and equitably distribute the property. It will cost money for both court costs and legal fees, so it is best if you can resolve the issue among yourselves.
