Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
Builder difficulties
Bought new construction home less than one year ago and builder will not make repairs on items that never worked (garage, outdoor electrical sockets inoperable, among other gripes).
They falsely claim I accepted $350 in lieu of a home warranty at closing. This money was accepted in exchange for not providing attic access, and had nothing to do with the warranty.
What is the easiest way to seek recoupment for the money I would have to spend to repair items?

Re: Builder difficulties
If the claim is under $10K, small claims court. Instructions and forms can be found at the office of the Justice of the Peace.
