Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Bulk Service Providers

In the community I recently moved into, the home owners association has made one cable company the bulk service provider for all owners. We are not allowed to have services through another provider accept for a one-time opt out that the deadline has passed on. If the home is sold there is no opt out for the new owners only the bulk services package. If I am recieving un satisfactory servoce now that the opt out deadline has ended what options do I now have?

Re: Bulk Service Providers

I think your best bet is trying to get the HOA to put pressure on the provider to provide better service. Litigating about whether you're bound by their agreement would take time and money and might not be successful.
