Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
I was trying to buy a house that was going in to foreclosure. They say the balance was about $30,000and I was going to pay $56.000. Ok by me. We sign a contract and the owner was to make some repairs, I got bank approval and a title co ready to go. But her father call me that she was not going to do any repairs she didnt have to do that . I say ok I will do It bring my the key. The House is abandoned. They took 3 weeks to bring the key and the house was up for sale at the auction in 2 weeks. I was afraid that if I start any repairs and the house sold I lose my money. My bank needed 30 days to close. I told them it was to late they got mad and took the key. The house sale was postponed to Aug 3th. The trustee tells me I have to buy it from the owner, but they dont want to deal with me. I dont have cash to buy it at the auction. What can I do, I really want the house for my daughter, and she is a single mom with 2 kids.

You'll need to work with the present owner. Maybe a title company can help you get the paperwork together. With the foreclosure postponed, you have a little more time. Good luck.
