Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
city ordinance power over property owners' rights
Our city has imposed an ordinance to demolish my trailer houses which I have on my lots (the city has no restrictions on placing trailer houses on any lots). They say the houses are substandard. I have been paying electric bills on one trailer and the other is set on a lot which has no utility service. I have requested the service and the city hall people told me it would cost the city too much for one house. What rights do I have?

What city? Do they have other trailer houses in the city? It sounds like you need a lawyer in your county.
