Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

I closed on my home on Friday, per the buyer's request, and the funding was not possible because the buyers were unaware they both had to be at closing. I was assured the funding would take place on Monday, which it did not. It finally funded on Tuesday, but the amount was less than what was on our contract. I am waiting to hear the explanation from the title company, but I'm assuming it's the difference of the payoff amount. I am livid, as this was of no fault of ours, but the buyers and their agent. Do we have any recourse?

Unless you accepted funding for lesser amount, perhaps...but title company generally do not close unless agreement on all matters is done in writing..
