Closed on a home but have not paid yet

We closed on a home with intentions to pay cash but have been delayed on getting that cash, is the house ours or only after the cash payment has been made?

Re: Closed on a home but have not paid yet

If you have truly "closed" the house should be yours. However, without additional facts, I can't tell what's going on. Did you get purchase money from an outside lender? Is the Seller carrying a note? Is the property merely under contract or contract for deed? Until those questions are answered...who knows?
