Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

I have a contract pending on my house that is up for sale and has been vacent since Oct 2009. Without permission from either myself or my realtor, the person(s) that are wanting the house have had the water turned on and a pipe ruptrued doing severe water damage to my house before the water could be shut off. What legal actions can I take to have this damage repaired or to force them to go ahead with the sale of my house since they were at fault?

if the house was under contract, there should be an "inspection" provision giving the buyer the right to inspect, but they will have to put the house back the way it was before. Without a contract, you might have to prove that they caused the problem..

The buyer is liable if they caused the damage. If they don't make it right you will need to sue.
