Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
Can county take over private road without premission of owner ,to make county road. No county maintaince of road has occured. County reported letter by regular mail sent out 3 years ago for protest. Never received stated letter. No compensation . Two homes on said road. One homeowner given easement . 2nd home owner has home for sale. How can I prevent sale of land by 2nd home owner.

Talk to the county. If thay doesn't work, call an attorney. The bad thing about getting compensation is that later you are charged with prorata share of improvements. It is best to just let the county have the land.
