Is a credit card company allowed to place a lien on my home for nonpayment?

Assuming that your credit card is an unsecured loan and you have not signed an agreement with the credit card company allowing for a lien on your house, then the only way the credit card company should be able to file a lien on your home would be if the credit card company has gotten a judgment against you.

No. They can get a judgment against YOU, but, by law, it will not attach to your homestead.
