Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

My dad & I own 33 acres of commercial raw land. He's in the middle of a divorce. The land was put in his & my name together via a family inheritance prior to this marriage. My dad wants to sell me his half of the property. We want to file a warranty deed & take the property out of his name & put it only in my name, how do I do that?

One potential issue that should be considered: Is your father under a standing order by the divorce court that prohibits the transfer of property. We can discuss this over the phone.
