Absolutely not...you can buy land or any property without a Realtor.

BUT, you may end up paying MORE without a Realtor. Further you loose the advise and experience that a Realtor brings to the table.

I am a divorce lawyer and as you can imagine many of my clients are in need of selling a home/property.

I always (for their benefit) at least suggest that that speak with a Realtor.
