Deceased husbands property

My husband and I were separated at the time of his death. About a year before he died he purchased property with a woman who claimed to be his commom law wife. About 7 months before his death he kicked her out. We were still legally married. Do I have any rights to the property. I live in Texas.

Possibly. I would have to see how the property is titled. Also, did you sign any paperwork regarding the property (i.e. this is his separate property) or did you sign any sort of release on the property? Where is the property physically located?
