deed vs morgage loan

I was deeded some property while the 'loan was still active' on the property. the borrower has a few days before he defaults on the loan. i was deeded this property almost 1 yr ago. what are my rights if any, to maintain possession of the home?

It depends on the paperwork that you signed with this person. If there isn't one, then you have a big problem.

You can continue to make payments and hope they don't accellerate the loan (if the lender has that right) or you can re-finance the property.
