Deed question on a property
To whom it may concern
I moved here to El Paso Tx. with my divorced Husband we deceided to purchase a property together, now he has chosen another path and we would like to find out how he can get removed of the deed without refinancing the house . We are both in mutual agreement to get him removed of the Deed.

He can remove himself from the title to the house, but he will remain obligated to pay the note. He would use a special warranty deed to do this. He will also need written permission from the mortgage company in advance. Most law offices will do this for you for a small fee.
