Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

How can I get my name off Deed of Trust?

Husband went behind my back and

purchased his brother a home. I just

found out that I'm on the deed of

trust. His sister-in-law forged my

name. How can i get my info off of

this deed, without sending my soon

to be ex-husband to jail?

Contact the title company who insured title for the lender. Notify them and the lender of the forgery. That is why people buy title insurance.

It's not really up to you if your husband goes to jail. That's a determination for the district attorney to make. As for what to do, you need to contact the financial instituion and complete a fraud affidavit. Given our current climate, it's possible that they would forward this to the DA's office for consideration. You have a bigger mess on your hands than you realise.
