Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

dissolving power of attorney

In 1993, I built a house. In 1996, I decided to move to Iowa from Texas and wanted to sell the house but my parents did not want me to sell it so they moved into it. They went to an attorney and drew up a power of attorney, which I signed, to protect them incase something happened to the house while I was so far away. Now I have moved back to Texas and want to end the power of attorney status so I can move back into the house which they are reluctant to leave. How do I dissolve this paperwork? Thank you for your help.

Re: dissolving power of attorney

You must revoke the power of attorney. There are some important steps you must undertake to revoke the power of attorney effectively, I suggests you consult with an attorney.
