Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

I was divorced in January 1999, at which time my ex- husband, now deceased, sold our business to me. In the Florida divorce decree, he and his lawyer were to provide me and my lawyer a signed quit claim deed to a 2 acre piece of property in Texas. Both attorneys dropped the ball and the ex-husband died and now my adult children have taken the property from me and are about to sell it. My question is, will they be able to get a clear title from the title company without me signing off?

How was the property titled at your ex-husband's death? You may need to file something of record in the county where the property is located to protect your interest.
