Divorced but never taken off mortgage
My brother legally separated from his wife in 4/06, then ultimately was granted divorce the same year. Wife was told to either sell home & split proceeds or refinance to remove his name....never happened and now the house is in foreclosure due to her failure to make payments. Does he have any legal way to not have this affect his credit?

No. However, brother can get ex to deed the house to him and cure the default before foreclosure day. He can then live in it or re-sell.
