Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
dMy father is not in good health. Friends afraid he will go postal. Nobody wants to be around him because of his body odor due to not bathing. He is living in a house the city has condemned but won't leave. He gets a certain amount every month from retirement but pays me part of that to help with my bills. He has two properties that are rented and one that he bought for himself but now no way to get up there. Would I be able to sell those properties myself as his only child and keep that money for myself since a nursing home would keep his entire monthly retirement checks?

You cannot sell his property unless he gives you power of attorney to do so.
