Can a hired attorney stop a home forclosure in the early stages?

So the home owner can keep their home?

Re: early stages of forclosure

IF you have a legal basis to stop the foreclosure -- i.e., sometihng is going on other than the payments are behind -- an injunction might be sought and granted. You'd almost certainly have to put a up a bond in the amount of any past due payments and the payments that would accrue while the suit was pending. Most folks would have to secure this bond with cash equal to 100% of the bond amount. If it's a situation where the homeowner can't make his payments, bankruptcy can be a better alternative.
