Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

eviction notice

I have been unable to pay my rent for the month of June. I received an eviction notice dated June 11th, for me to vacate my home by midnight of June 14th. Does the landlord have the right to do this?

Have have lived in this home for over three years.

Re: eviction notice

Yes. If you don't move out by the 3-day deadline, LL has the right to file an eviction suit against you. A hearing will be set and if you lose at the hearing, you will be given a time to move out by the judge. If you are not out by then, the LL can apply for a writ with the sheriff or constible who will forceably remove you and your possessions.
