Eviction Process after Closing

Investor represented himself to me as a real estate agent to help me find new home. He told me I had to sell my existing home first and then find a new home. Said he would help me out, by purchasing my home in ''as is'' condition for his daughter (i.e. no profit for me). He specified no required date to vacate, in fact, verbally assured me on several occassions both before and after closing not to worry about a move out date because He would help me find new home. He never said I had to buy a house from him. But After I declined to purchase a HUD property he owned, because he refused to let me see the inside of the house first, he told me to get out today or he would have the constable put all my stuff outside by end of day. Can he do this without a court order?

No he cannot. He must give you written notice to vacate, he must go to court, giving you notice of the court date (where you can tell the judge your story) and then if he wins you will have about 10 days before the constable would evict you. Larry Maun 713-266-2560
