Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
A family member was temporarily residing at my home for a period of 10 wks. In the middle of the night he snuck out, stole my vehicle, and over $2300 worth of property including credit cards that he used. He has now been released from texas state jail for charges including theft and UUV, and is threating to sue me for defamation, libel, slander, and harassment. Is this possible, even though he was arrested and charged?
