It is called an Assignment of Lease that the old owner and new owner signs before a notary public. It will be recorded in the office of the county clerk. You can provide a copy to the tenant with a letter instructing tenant to send rent to new owner. I would do this by certified mail or personal delivery. You can find the form at your local law library or the title company where you closed can help you.
