Grandma's Home

If there is a lein on a property, what does that lein holder liable for while waiting on my grandmother to pass? Is there a way to resolve this issue before she passes if the lein is aleady in place?

You can negotiate a settlement with the lienholder at any time, but be prepared to pay some money. Be sure you record a release of lien when the settlement is made. Also, if it is a judgment lien, it may be barred by the statute of limititations depending on how old it is.
