Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
When my grandmother died she left her house to my uncle. Almost 2 years ago my uncle Warranty Deed the property to me. Now Im trying to sell the house to help pay for schooling....they did a title search and now I find out my uncle is still listed as the executor of estate, also find out my mother and aunt are linked to house as well, but i am the owner of the property. What do i do?

The uncle, who is the executor, should do an executor's deed to you. Also, you need to check title records, as there is possibly a hole in the chain of title. Grandma may not have owned the entire house, and whoever else is in title will need to "deed out."
If everyone is in agreement, and is willing to sign off, then this can be accomplished easily with a probate attorney and a title company.
