Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
My grandmother put up some property to secure a loan on mobil home she passed away two years ago so we let the loan go into default mortgage company going to sale land and trailer can they put lien on any other property owned by grandmother

The answer depends on the mortgage documents signed and her level and type of ownership.
Generally, if the mortgage lists the land and other things as the collateral for the loan, then they can be seized or foreclosed upon. It can be fought, but likely would involve Court actions.
Also, if they file for a Judicial (Court lawsuit) foreclosure and are successful in obtaining a Judgment (for example, if her Estate does not show up to contest it), then that Judgment and all its collection/legal costs CAN be enforced against just about any of her own property, bank accounts, etc.
If you need advice on this, for a no fee brief consultation contact me and I can meet you closer to central Houston to look it over more.
